It has been a mighty busy summer!!! Last week we cooked for a Corporate Retreat and put togteher these beautiful Watermelon, Feta and Mint Skewers. We have been cooking up a storm this past couple of weeks!!! One of the highlights was this beautiful twist on the Caprese. We had a lactose intolerant guest so we sourced a Water Buffalo Milk Mozzarella which was lactose free. We paired the Fresh Mozzarella with a bit of Prosciutto, Fresh Basil and Apricots then garnished it off right with an Arugula Walnut Pesto and a Golden Balsamic Reduction. This dish has summer written all over it!!!

Fall is in the air.

Tahoe Mountain Tapas Personal Chef & Catering Service has been cooking up a storm, all around the Lake Tahoe Basin this summer! From family gatherings to corporate retreats and small weddings, we have been busy filling bellies with the seasons freshest, most delectable ingredients. Below is one of our favorite flavors of the summer so far...Humboldt Fog Goats Milk Cheese (from Cypress Grove Creamery) topped with Raw Local Honey and Lavendar. This has been an absolute hit amongst our Charcuterie and Cheese Platters. Spread over a Rosemary Pecan Crisp and accompanied by a tantalizing slice of Prosciutto, one cannot go wrong.
